The history of Patek Philippe watches
Patek Philippe was founded in 1839 by Antoine Norbert de Patek and Francois Czapek. In 1845 the company had a patent for keyless winding and hand settings system. 6 years later in 1851, the Great Exhibition had taken plan in London, and Queen Victoria is one of those who had admired the first keyless watches in the world. Also in 1851, the company had rebranded to Patek, Philippe & Cie. In 1941 the brand started to produce the wristwatches.
One of 'today's new watch collections is known as the 5212A-001. This watch includes a silvery opaline and blackened gold applied to the hour markers and a steel case with sapphire crystal casing. The watch also has a self-winding system.
