The history of Hamilton pocket watches
Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lanchester, Pennsylvania in the USA. It was a company that had produced pocket watches with great care, quality and accuracy. In 1912 the Hamilton pocket watch was given the name The Watch of Railroad Accuracy. By 1932 the Boulton and Flintridge had been seen in the film Shanghai Express. They were used as essential devices that would have made the movie plot advanced. This was known as the earliest appearance for the watches in a movie.
The Hamilton pocket watch itself was created in 1913 by Hamilton. It includes manual winding, a lever escapement movement that has up to 12 jewels, a gold case, black Arabic numerals on the face of the watch and white face colour.
